Persatuan Perlindungan Tumbuh-tumbuhan Malaysia or Malaysian Plant Protection Society (MAPPS) was established in 1976 with Dr. George Varghese as the founder and the first President. The Malaysian Plant Protection Society (MAPPS) was officially inaugurated on 8 March 1977 by the Registrar of Society. The primary objective of the Society is to promote scientific and advancement of all aspects of research and practices of plant protection in Malaysia. The MAPPS Ordinary Membership Form is for those who interested in Malaysian Plant Protection Society (MAPPS)activities in plant protection in the tropics.
